Vroege soort. Cylindrische knol, zwarte huid en wit vlees. Compact en zoet. Kan in de grond bewaard worden.

 

Zaai-instructies: apr-jul, interval 4 weken. Zaai dun, 1 cm. diep in rijen op 20 cm.

Plant-instructies: Veel water en voeding. Oogst van mei tot sep

Early variety. Cylindrical root, elongated. Upright leaves, rather divided at its base. Black skin and white flesh, very compact and sweet. Good preservation in the soil.

Sowing instructions: Sow April through to July, at 4 weekly intervals. Sow thinly, 1cm deep in drills 20cm apart.

Planting instructions: For best results turnips should be grown quickly, help to achieve this by watering and feeding well at all stages. Harvest when still medium size for the best flavour. Prefers a well drained, moist, fertile soil. Harvest May to September.
