Description:

Native wild flower found in grasslands and open woods. A very pretty plant, it is a mat-forming species bearing spikes of small lilac flowers. Medicinal plant used for a better digestion and to treat the symptoms of a cold.

Hardy in: zones 5-9 (-15 Celsius)

 

Sowing instructions: Sow mid spring-mid summer in a good seed compost just covering the seed with compost. Seal inside a polythene bag and place in the dark until the first seedlings start to show. Keep compost moist but not saturated. Germination takes around 30 days at 20-25C.

 

Planting instructions: full sun and well drained soil.
