Description:
A favourite for the wild flower garden or the border, Devil's Bit Scabious produces masses of blue to purple flowers late in the summer when this colour is much appreciated. Much appreciated by (bumble)bees and butterflies.

Sowing instructions: Sow from late winter to early summer 1.5mm deep in a good seed compost. Make sure that the compost is moist but not wet and seal in a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 10-30 days at 21-24C.

Planting instructions: For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny to partially shaded spot.
