With its dramatic deep bronze-purple foliage, Sedum Purple Emperor will create quite a spectacular display in your garden. The dark foliage is complimented beautifully by the masses of red-purple flowers which appear in late summer and last right through to late autumn. Sedums are highly attractive to bees and butterflies, making an excellent addition to a wildlife garden. They make an excellent cut flower and are often used in fresh floral arrangements. The flower-heads can also be dried. Tolerant of hot, dry spots of the garden, Sedums look lovely in hanging baskets or planted between stepping stones or in wall niches as a feature.
