old-fashioned clump-forming herbaceous perennial, suitable for a mixed sunny border or cottage garden. In summer rosettes of luscious grey-green foliage are topped with large, tightly-packed flat heads of bright pinkish-mauve flowers which last through to autumn giving you a long season of interest. Sedum is highly attractive to butterflies and insects. They make an excellent cut flower and are often used in fresh floral arrangements.
