Zaai-instructies: Jan-feb. Kiem onregelmatig in 30-360 dg, 13-18C

Plant-instructies: Zon, beschut. Arme grond. In winter beschermen.

Description: One of New Zealand's exquisite natives, this distant iris relative has sprays of pure white, almost orchid-like, saucer-shaped flowers with yellow stamens atop clumps of non-invasive dark green stems.

Hardy in: zones 7-11 (-5 Celsius)

 

Sowing instructions: Sow finely and evenly. Cover thinly with compost, grit, vermiculite or perlite. Keep moist and covered in a cold frame

or unheated greenhouse. Seeds can germinate irregularly over a long period, so do not discard seed trays prematurely. Best sown in late Jan/Feb

Planting instructions: sunny, sheltered spot and poor soil.
