Wijduitstaande, dubbele bloemen. De gelijkenis met een clematisbloem is frappant. De bloemen hebben geen spoortjes aan de achterkant.

Winterhard in: zones 3-4-5-6-7-8 (-25 Celsius)

Zaai-instructies: Kiemt langzaam en onregelmatig. Zaden niet afdekken. Kiemt in 1-3 maanden bij 15-20 Celsius. Beter nog: zaai in de herfst en zet het zaaisel buiten. Kiemt dan in het voorjaar.

Plant-instructies: Volle zon, verder geen bijzondere eisen.

Clusters of double spurless, dark violet clematis-like flowers, on strong sturdy stems. Looks excellent grown alongside green or white, early flowering plants.

Hardy in: zones 3-4-5-6-7-8 (-25 Celsius)

Sowing instructions: Sow seeds on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed sowing mix in pots or trays. Do not cover the seed. Place container in a propagator or seal inside a plastic bag and keep at a temperature of between 15-20C. After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the mix moist but not waterlogged; germination can take 1-3 months.

Planting instructions: For best results, provide any ordinary, well-drained soil in full sun
