This is an unusual plant for us as we don't grow too many climbers! Deciduous lanceolate rich green glossy foliage on twining stems to around 5 metres in time if allowed to do so. Flowers are a strong red or occasionally greenish and covered in bristly hairs inside. Extracts are often used in some countries as a herbal medicine for arthritis.
