Uit de tropen van W-Afrika. De bladeren zijn eetbaar en worden zoals spinazie bereid. Van de zwarte bessen kan je heerlijke taarten bakken, als vers fruit zijn ze minder lekker. Plukrijp vanaf oktober.

 

Zaai-instructies: Kiem in 20-21 dg, 20C.

From the tropics of W Africa. The leaves are edible and are prepared like spinach. You can bake delicious cakes from the black berries but they are less tasty as fresh fruit. Ready to pick from October.

Sowing instructions: will usually germinate in 10-21 days, even under good conditions germination may be erratic. Sow seeds about 13mm deep in a peaty seed sowing mix at about 20 Celsius. Keep the compost slightly moist

 

Planting instructions: Don?t let the plant dry out. Full sun.

 

Warning: parts of the plant are harmful if eaten.
