Kleinste auberginesoort: heldergroen, zo groot als olijven. Een wonderlijke, stevige, rijke smaak, die bijvoorbeeld bij roerbakken goed tot zijn recht komt. Rauw eten kan ook.

Description:

Smallest of all aubergines: bright green and olive sized. Remarkable, richt taste and very suitable for stir frying. Can be eaten raw as well, but tastes very bitter.

Sowing instructions: Sow February-May for growing indoors. Sow seed on the surface of a good free draining, moist seed compost and cover with 6mm layer of vermiculite or compost. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag at constant 18-21C until after germination which takes 10-14 days.

Planting instructions: Once first flowers have set feed and water regularly with a high potash tomato feed. Harvest regularly to promote further flowers and to extend the picking season.
