Pluk het jonge blad in een lekkere en sierlijke salade: het ronde blad heeft een kroezende en dus extra knapperige bladrand. Koken, stoven, bakken en roosteren, alles is mogelijk!

Zaai-instructies: Zaai feb-jun. Kiemt in 7-21 dagen bij 15-20 Celsius.

Description:
The leaves and seeds can be eaten raw or cooked. Leaves added to salads add a pleasant, mild flavor. The seeds have a pleasant nutty taste.

Sowing instructions: Sow Feb-June or Sep-Oct in pots or trays of moist seed compost and cover with a very fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator or warm place, and keep at a constant temperature of between 15-20 Celsius. After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged; germination usually takes 7-21 days. Can also be sown outdoors once the soil has warmed, 3mm deep in drills 30cm apart in well-cultivated soil which has been raked to a fine tilth.

Planting instructions: For best results, provide a fertile, moist, well-drained soil in full sun.
