Een betrouwbare, Amerikaanse soort voor in de kas, die een flinke oogst donkergroene vruchten levert. Van binnen zijn ze with en knapperig. Heel geschikt voor in de salade of uit het vuistje.

Zaai-instructies: Kiemt in 7-10 dagen bij 20-30 Celsius. Leg zaden op hun zijkant.

Plant-instructies: Heeft behoefte aan veel warmte en een hoge luchtvochtigheid. Doet het het beste in een kas of polytunnel maar in een goede zomer gaat het buiten ook.

A reliable American variety for indoor growing, producing heavy crops of dark green skinned, slightly spined, 25cm fruits with crisp white flesh. Tender and perfect for summer salads.

Sowing instructions: Sow Feb-Mar. Germinate in 7.5cm pots at 20-30 Celsius on the surface of a good free draining, damp seed compost. Apply a layer of compost or vermiculite, 1cm deep. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which takes 7-10 days.

Planting instructions: Train along wire, allowing the main shoot to reach the tip. Pinch out growing point and allow two shoots to trail downwards. Keep moist but not wet. Apply shading as required and provide a humid atmosphere by regularly spraying or damping down pathways. Regular picking will encourage further fruiting,
