Beschrijving:

Dikke ovale vruchten met stekels aan de buitenschil, geelgroen van kleur. Het zeer sappige vruchtvlees smaakt naar komkommer. Halveren en uitlepelen.

Description:

Fat, oval fruits, spiny fruits, yellow when ripe. Very jucy. Tastes like cucumber. Cut it in two and eat the flesh with some salt.

Sowing instructions: Sow seeds February to March. Germinate in 7.5cm pots at 20-30 Celsius on the surface of a good free draining, damp seed compost. Apply a layer of compost or vermiculite, 1cm deep. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which takes 7-10 days.

Planting instructions: Train along wire, allowing the main shoot to reach the tip. Pinch out growing point and allow two shoots to trail downwards. Keep moist but not wet. Apply shading as required and provide a humid atmosphere by regularly spraying or damping down pathways. Regular picking will encourage further fruiting,
