Beschrijving:

Vergeten, maar zeer decoratieve, eenjarige groente. Het blad is na 6-7 weken als spinazie oogstbaar. Groeit de plant door, dan ontstaan na 1-2 maanden de als aardbeitjes ogende vruchtjes.

Zaai-instructies: Kiemt in 5-14 dagen bij 21-24 Celsius. Kan ook ter plekkeworden gezaaid (mei)

Plant-instructies: Bijzonder weinig eisen met betrekking tot bodem ofwater geven.

Description:

Strawberry Spinach is a relatively unknown and unusual herb that is an edible annual plant with bright red edible fruits that resemble strawberries. The triangular, toothed leaves are thinner than spinach, very nutritious, and high in vitamins C and A. Tender shoots are used raw in salads or cooked like spinach. The fruits are juicy and tasty when mature.

Sowing instructions: Sow fromFebruary to April indoors at 21-24 Celsius in good seed compost. Just cover theseed with compost and keep the soil damp but not wet. Germination usually takes5-14 days. Can also be sown outdoors where they are to flower during May oncethe soil has warmed. Keep moist until after germination and thin out to 30 cmapart.

Planting instructions: No specialrequirements with regards to soil and watering.
