Beschrijving:
Een zeer oude, inheemse groente. De forse planten geven pijlpuntig blad, dat als spinazie wordt gegeten. Jonge scheuten worden in het voorjaar als asperge aangeaard, gestoken en gegeten.

Zaai-instructies: Kiemt in 5-14 dagen bij 21-24 Celsius. Kan ook ter plekke worden gezaaid (mei)

Plant-instructies: Bijzonder weinig eisen met betrekking tot bodem of water geven.

Very old, European vegetable. Big plants with lance shaped leaves. Can be eaten like spinach. Young shoots can be grown, havested and eaten like asparagus.

Sowing instructions: Sow from February to April indoors at 21-24 Celsius in good seed compost. Just cover the seed with compost and keep the soil damp but not wet. Germination usually takes 5-14 days. Can also be sown outdoors where they are to flower during May once the soil has warmed. Keep moist until after germination and thin out to 30 cm apart.

Planting instructions: No special requirements with regards to soil and watering.
