Een oud, zeldzaam, Frans ras. Ronde, stevige, geurige knollen in het voorjaar maar ook als nateelt aan het einde van de zomer. Het jonge blad wordt als raapsteel gegeten.

Zaai-instructies: apr tot july, met een interval van 4 weken. Zaai dun, 1 cm. diep in rijen op 20 cm.

Plant-instructies: Raapjes moeten snel groeien voor het beste resultaat. Geef dus veel water en voeding. Oogst wanneer ze middelgroot zijn, van mei tot september.

Description: A rare yellow variety with firm, fragrant roots that are easy to grow for fresh summer to autumn crops. Why not try heating vinegar with a pinch of salt and a few tablespoons of sugar, pour over sliced turnips and allow them to marinate for a few hours, then drain and serve.

Planting instructions: For best results turnips should be grown quickly, help to achieve this by watering and feeding well at all stages. Harvest when still medium size for the best flavour. Prefers a well drained, moist, fertile soil. Harvest May to September.
