Geeft een groene hoofdbloem en na de eerste oogst ontstaan wat kleinere zijscheuten. Je hebt er dus lang plezier van. De kiemende scheuten van broccoli zijn ook heel gezond, dus laat er eens een paar doorschieten voor de zaden!

Zaai-instructies: Zaai in apr-jun, 1 cm. diep in rijen op 23 cm. Bemest de grond voor je zaait.

Plant-instructies: Voedselrijke vochtige bodem. Regelmatig water en voeding geven. Onkruidvrij houden.

Description:
Broccoli for picking from June to winter, if sown in succession from spring onwards. A heavy yield of juicy tender stems can be picked from each plant over a 6 week period. The nutty sweet flavour and colour is best utilised in a wok as a stir fry vegetable or as a healthy raw salad ingredient.

Sowing instructions: Sow Apr-Jun. Sow 1cm deep in drills 23cm apart in soil which has been raked to a fine tilth and which contains plenty of compost or manure.

Planting instructions: Prefers a moist, rich, well-drained soil. Water regularly, especially in dry periods. Hoe between plants and give liquid feed as heads develop.
