Kuipplant. Kleine, zeer geurige bloemetjes. Plant is op zijn mooist als de zaaddozen openspringen en vele kleine, glanzende, oranjerode zaden tevoorschijn komen.

Zaai-instructies: Week zaden. Kiemt in 30-60 dagen bij 12-15 Celsius.

Plant-instructies: Zon of halfschaduw. Geef regelmatig water, maar kan wel wat droogte verdragen.

Description:

Small, greenish-white, sweetly fragant flowers. They are followed by small, yellow-brown seed capsules. This plant is very showy when the capsules split open to release numerous small, shiny, orange-red seeds, which are covered in a sticky, resinous exudate.

Sowing instructions: Place seeds in a cup and cover with just boiled water. Pittosporum viridiflorum seeds will usually germinate in 30-60 days, even under good conditions germination may be erratic. Sow seeds about 2mm deep in a well drained seed sowing mix at about 12 Celsius.

Planting instructions: Sun or half shade. Best with regular water. Tolerates arid climates.
