Beschrijving:

Kuipplant. deze soort groeit tot een kleine boom of struik. Het blad is glanzend blauw en zeer decoratief, de bloem groeit in neerhangende trossen, zachtgeel van kleur.

Description:

Usually a handsome shrub with most attractive glaucous blue foliage (effective in arrangements) but can be trained as a small standard tree. Although normally somewhat tender, this tree is quite happy outside in Bedford and should therefore prove reasonably hardy anywhere. The loose panicles of tubular, downy, yellow flowers appear in succession from late spring onwards.

Sowing instructions: Sow Febr-Apr. Sow seed on the surface of good, free-draining, seed or multipurpose compost. Do not cover the seed. Place container in a propagator or seal inside a plastic bag and place at a temperature of 20-25C until after germination which takes 7-21 days. Do not exclude light, as this helps germination.

Planting instructions: Well drained soil in (partial) shade.
