Beschrijving: Kuipplant. Een ouderwetse plant die het liefst verwaarloosd wordt. Kent een lang bloeiseizoen waar geen peil op te trekken valt. Na de bloei volgen grote, rode bessen. Hoogte: 60 cm. Bloeit: feb-mei Type: TP Winterhard in: zones 9-10-11 (5 Celsius) Zaai-instructies: Zaden 24 uur weken, minimaal. Kiemt in 50-90 dagen bij 21-23 Celsius; Plant-instructies: Zon/halfschaduw. Wacht met verpotten (in het voorjaar) tot de pot letterlijk barst. De planten worden in een mengsel van bladgrond, turfstrooisel, scherp zand en verteerde mest geplant. Heeft een hekel aan natte voeten. Om te bloeien moet de plant tussen nov-feb koel staan. Hierna meer water plus voedig geven en warmer zetten. Avoid direct sun in summer which may scorch the leaves. Place pots away from radiators. For flowers to form, they need a cool period of 10oC, from nov to feb. After this, water lightly applying a balanced liquid fertiliser weekly until the flower buds form, then move to a well lit position. Warning: all parts of the plant are poisonous when ingested
