Kuipplant. Merkwaardige plant met stevige, opstaande, worstachtige stengels. Blad is meestal afwezig. Vreemde bloemen en daarna grote pluizebollen.

 

Zaai-instructies: Kiem in 1-3 mnd, 20-25C. ’s nachts temperatuur naar 15C brengen.

Description: An interesting odd looking succulent, smooth with some constrictions which make it look like a row of small long sausages, the strangely beautiful flowers tip it to the positive side.

Hardy in: zones 9-11 (5 Celsius)

 

Sowing instructions: Sow flat on a very well drained, rocky soil at some 20-25 Celsius maximim. Higher temperature will inhibit germination in these species! A temperature drop down to 15 Celsius at night will enhance germination. Keep soil only slightly moist until germination starts

 

Planting instructions: Sunny, sheltered spot. Dry soil.
