This compact begonia has stunning foliage. The rounded, lily-pad-like leaves are deeply veined, giving them a crinkled appearance. The shiny, green leaves have dark-maroon undersides, creating an interesting contrast. White flowers bloom in summer on short flower stems that stand just above the foliage.

Sowing instructions: Germinate January to March at around 25 Celsius on the surface of a good free draining, damp seed compost. Do not cover the seed. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 14-21 days. Do not exclude light at any stage, as this helps germination

Planting instructions: (partial) shade. Soil must not get dry.
