Beschrijving: Kuip- of kamerplant (dan blijft hij klein). Een volwassen plant heeft een gezwollen stam die naar boven toe smaller wordt. Hierboven clusters van zwaardvormige, lichtgroene bladeren. Oudere planten produceren trossen kleine witte bloemen. Hoogte: 5 m. Bloeit: jul-aug Type: TTr Winterhard in: zones 9-10-11 (5 Celsius) Zaai-instructies: Zaai in jan-feb. Kieming vindt plaats in 30-90 dagen bij ca. 22 Celsius. Lichtkiemer dus dek het zaad niet te veel af. Plant-instructies: Plant kan goed tegen droogte maar niet tegen natte voeten. Volle zon en niet te vaak voeding. Will only germinate with light. Sow on the surface of a well drained seed sowing mix at about 22 Celsius Planting instructions: Can stand quite some drought but hates to get its feet wet.
