Zaai-instructies: zaai feb-apr. Week de zaden. Zaai in potgrond en dek de zaden lichtjes af. Licht is nodig om te kiemen. Kiemt binnen 10-60 dagen bij 20-30 Celsius.

Plant-instructies: geef in de groeiperiode voldoende water; af en toe met water besproeien. Houd de plant luchtig. Snoei de plant om hem in vorm te houden.

Description:

White, lightly fragrant, delicate, azalea-like flowers are borne in profusion: this plant can be almost completely covered with flowers for a long period throughout summer from November to April. The slightly crinkly oval flower petals are made all the more attractive by one of the petals having a red or deep pink centre stripe.

Sowing instructions: Sow February to April. Soak seed in warm water for 24 hours before sowing. Germinate at 20-30 Celsius on the surface of a good free draining, damp seed compost. Cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite, and place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 10-60 days. Do not exclude light at any stage as this is beneficial to germination.

Planting instructions: Water freely during growth, mist spray plants occasionally and ensure plants have adequate ventilation. Prune only to keep plants to required size.
