Beschrijving:

De donzige, oranje bloemen groeien in kluwens. Geliefd vanwege de rustgevende thee van gedroogde bloemen en blaadjes, gemengd met bijv. mint (vanwege de smaak). Te kweken als eenjarige.

Zaai-instructies: Kiemt in 14-21 dagen bij 18-20 Celsius.

Description:

The downy, bright orange flowers grow in clusters. Much loved for the soothing tea that is made of the dried flowers and leaves, often mixed with mint to enhance the taste. Grow this plant as an annual if you live in a cool climate.

Sowing instructions: Sow from mid Febr to Mar on the surface of a good seed compost just covering the seed with a thin layer of compost or vermiculite. Germination takes 14-21 days at 18-20 Celsius. Sealing in a polythene bag after sowing is helpful. Lower the temperature after germination. The seedlings are naturally tall and look a little like nettle seedlings at first.
