Heesterachtig kruid waarvan de blaadjes, zowel vers als gedroogd, worden gebruikt in diverse gerechten. Thee hiervan werkt laxerend. Zeer populair bij bijen en hommels.

Zaai-instructies: Zaai apr-mei. Kiemt in 14-21 dagen bij 15-20 Celsius. Zaden niet afdekken.

Description:
A fragrant herb traditionally used for brewing tea and as a medicinal plant, Hyssop is right at home in the ornamental garden. Its deep green foliage and flower spikes are a delight in mid-summer, when many other plants are looking beat from the heat. Extremely attractive to bees and butterflies, it is a wonderful companion plant.

Sowing instructions: Sow April to May at 15-20C on the surface of a good free draining, damp seed compost. Do not cover the seed. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 14-21 days. Do not exclude light, as this helps germination.
Planting instructions: Will grow in any well drained soil in full sun. Harvest leaves as and when required.
