Beschrijving:
Als je een bonte Lavatera kweekt (en dit is een prachtige geelbonte!), dan heb je er vanaf het begin plezier van. De plant houdt immers veel winterblad. Als bonus bloeit de plant met purperroze bloemen.

Zaai-instructies: Zaai in mrt-apr. Kiemt in 15-21 dagen bij 21 Celsius.

Plant-instructies: In het voorjaar met de helft terugsnoeien. Geen speciale eisen mbt bodem of watergeven. Volle zon of halfschaduw.

Description:
This Tree Mallow is mainly used as a unique and bold patio specimen. It forms a big upright bush of maple-shaped grey-green leaves marbled with creamy white. Soft lilac Hollyhock-like flowers appear during the second summer. Best foliage colour is after the first winter. Plant will die after flowering

Sowing instructions: Sow from late autumn to early spring 1.5mm deep in seed compost. Make sure that the compost is moist but not wet and seal in a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 15-21 days at 21 Celsius. They can also be sown outdoors in spring where they are to flower.

Planting instructions: Cut back by half in the spring. No special requirements with regards to soil or watering. Full sun or partial shade.
