Beschrijving:

Bruinrode bloemen, daarom ook wel chocolade-vingerhoedskruid genoemd. Vrij smal, lancetvormig blad. Ondanks zijn geringe hoogte toch elegant.

Hoogte: 60 cm.

Winterhard in: zones 4-5-6-7-8-9 (-20 Celsius)

Zaai-instructies: Zaai buiten, in mei of juni.

Plant-instructies: Geen bijzondere eisen. (Half)schaduw.

Description:

Reddish brown (or brownish red) flowers give this plant it’s nickname: chocolate foxglove. Relatively small, lancet shaped leaves. Not very tall but very elegant plant.

Sowing instructions: Sow outdoors (may-june) in a well prepared seed bed. Sow the seeds very thinly keeping the soil damp until germination takes place and thin out the seedlings to 15cm apart when large enough to handle

Planting instructions: They will grow in most soils and prefer part shade
