Uitermate geschikt voor de rotstuin. Lage plantjes met dikvlezige blaadjes, hierdoor doet het aan een vetplantje denken.

Zaai-instructies: vroeg in het voorjaar binnen. Zaailingen zijn kwetsbaar en lastig te verplanten. Zaai niet te dicht! Kiemt bij 18-21 dagen. Zaden niet afdekken.

Plant-instructies: Een zonnige standplaats is noodzakelijk, want de bloempjes openen zich alleen bij zonneschijn. Een zandige grond verdient de voorkeur
