This plant is used to make tobacco and has been cultivated for thousands of years for medicinal and recreational ends. On the side, it is also nice to look at with clusters of pink flowers and large leaves.

Sowing instructions: Sow Febr-Apr. Sow seed on the surface of good, free-draining, seed or multipurpose compost. Do not cover the seed. Place container in a propagator or seal inside a plastic bag and place at a temperature of 20-25C until after germination which takes 7-21 days. Do not exclude light, as this helps germination.

Planting instructions: Well drained soil in (partial) shade.
