Dankt zijn naam aan de kristalletjes op het vetachtige blad. De margrietachtige bloemetjes gaan open met zon of warmte. Er zijn er geen twee hetzelfde!

Winterhard in: zones 9-11 (5 C)

 

Zaai-instructies: kiemt in 20-30 dagen bij 20-25 C. Niet te dik zaaien en zaden niet afdekken.

 

Plant-instructies: Zeer goeddoorlatende grond in volle zon.

Description:

Carpet like growth with leaves that appear to be sprinkled with ice crystals. Produces a glowing display in full sun on beds, borders, dry banks, rockeries, etc. But only when the sun is shining!

Sowing instructions: seeds will usually germinate in 20-30 days, even under good conditions germination may be erratic.

Normally will only germinate with light so surface sow. Sow seeds on the surface of a well drained seed sowing mix at about 22 Celsius.

 

Planting instructions: Very welldrained soil in full sun.
