Manshoog met stevige stengels bezet met mooi driedelig blad, waarboven de heldergele bloemen goed afsteken. Goede snijplant.

Plant stands quite tall. Because of its height, it is best suited for the back of the border. Arranged in a flat-topped cluster, the flowers comprise a disk of yellow, deepening to purple-red. Does well in flower bouquets.

Hardy in: zones 5-9 (-15 Celsius)

 

Sowing instructions: Feb-Mar. Sow in pots or trays of moist seed compost and cover with a very fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a warm place, and keep at a constant temperature of between 20-25 Celsius. After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged; germination will usually take 21-30 days.

 

Planting instructions: ordinary, well drained soil in sun or partial shade.
