Beschrijving:
Het malse, jonge blad van deze plant heeft een decoratieve, rozerode bladaanhechting. Ook de de rozerode bloei doen mee aan de sierwaarde. Het jonge blad in salades of kort koken zoals spinazie.

Description:
The tender young leaves of this plant are very decorative with a reddish pink base. Also the flowers add to the picture. The young leaves can be used in salads or cooked like spinach.

Sowing instructions: Sow from February to April indoors at 21-24 Celsius in good seed compost. Just cover the seed with compost and keep the soil damp but not wet. Germination usually takes 5-14 days. Can also be sown outdoors where they are to flower during May once the soil has warmed. Keep moist until after germination and thin out to 30 cm apart.

Planting instructions: No special requirements with regards to soil and watering.
